Was jus browsing through the event profiles at atp.com... Although Andy's had a sluggish start 2 the year i looked at his clay court season and he didn't tend to get 2 far into the tournaments,

this year i think he might gain a few more points at these tournaments, and he also has a reasonable draw at nasdaq he should make the 1/4's.... Getting to the Wimbledon Final mite not happen this year but he was a 1st round exit at the USO so perhaps and improvement and that could balance out.....?

He could also pic up points at masters:
I mean he went out 1st round at hamburg(clay), 2nd round in Madrid(hard), 1st round in Montreal(hard), a non participant in monte carlo, 3rd round of rome(clay).......while reaching the final in cincinnati and the semi's of paris

Roddick sucks on clay. In fact, all American men suck on clay (with the exception of Agassi, and he's skipping the clay court season).

So he doesn't really have that many points to defend from the clay court season of 2005, but I don't see anyway that he could pick up any substantial points.
