Good luck!!

We were there the last 3 yrs. Hint as to where to stay...

The Embassy Suites. Free breakfast, free drinks early evening and the added bonus... there are tennis courts in the back of the hotel you can use to warm up before your matches.

Herrburgess -- good to see that your team did well again. My same team we will be up in Greenville as well.

Vizsla, good luck in Aiken.

HIH: your 3.0 team? Congrats. I'm sure you will do well. We're at 3.5 this season (though a group of our old 2.5s who played at 3.0 are going as well). I suspect our 3.5 may have a tough go of it, judging by the 3.5s I saw up there last year!

Gents:

There's a 3.5 team from the LCTA that is very good. Got to see some of the them play. They are LCTA I.

Yea last year 3.5 was pretty competative up there. Ya'll should check out the Embassy Suites. Was nice and having the courts helped us get ready for the matches.

Vizsla - Thanks for the tip on the Embassy Suites. I play out of the PD section. The 4.0 team coming out of our section is solid, but they are all legit 4.0 players. No real sandbaggers. Just a solid all around group that can put together 5 decent courts.

Herrburgess - yes this is our same group of 3.0s that we had together at State for Combo. We are giving State one last shot before we all get bumped. Since we are all computer rated players, I figure we will get killed at State based on what we have seen in the past. Guess I will just have to live without that USTA pen. :) As for the 3.5 team coming from our league, they are solid on every court too. But mostly computer rated and no real sandbaggers there either.

Yea, thanks for the info, guys. As for the 3.5 teams coming out of CTL: also 2 solid teams with steady guys; no sandbaggers really. Should be a fun time.
