Shoe Decision

Looking for new shoes, I currently have a pair of the original Nike Breathe Frees (love these shoes) and the Barricade IIs. I'm looking at 6 shoes:

- Nike Vapors
- Nike Breathe Free IIs
- Adidas Barricade II (Like the ones I have but wondering if there is something better maybe)
- Adidas Barricade III
- Adidas A3 Accel.
- Yonex SHT 303

Anyone have any advice on these?

Do a little research in this forum and you'll find pretty much everyone's opinion on all of these shoes.

The only shoes I have had from that collection are the Barricade IIIs but I am getting the IIs in the mail shortly. The IIIs are heavy, but durable. Comfortable for me and provided a good amount of stability.

Barricades (II or III) are the best shoes you can buy. I would recommend the II (better fit in my opinion and lower price) but there is certainly nothing wrong with the III. I'm currently wearing the III which seems to be a little more durable than the II but I'll probably go back to the II next time I need new shoes...or I'll try the IV if they are out.

dont know about sht 303s but the 304s are awesome i got them and i much prefer them to barricades or breathe frees.

I've found the IIs to be better than the IIIs since they are lighter and a bit narrower. The Breathe Free IIs are too wide in the toe box for me and don't have enough lateral support in the front half of the shoe. I don't like the Vapors because the collar doesn't have much padding and rubs my ankle the wrong way. I've never tried the Yonex shoes because they're supposed to be wider than normal shoes.

these seem to be the most used by pros at TMS Montreal, IMO.
