Never denied that. I am just explaining where my irritation with his play comes from. When Nadal wasn't playing well, he adapted and came to the net a lot, sliced a lot. Med did zero adapting. He was a spectator in his own match and that's that. Honestly, I want either Alcaraz to start making slam finals or one Big Three guy to make up half of it. If it's a Tsitsi-Med/Zed-Med final, I won't even bother to watch. They all bore me to death.

And for me, he still is GOAT because he has more weeks at no.1, more YECs and owns the H2H against both Fed and Nadal. If Nadal wins one more and Djokovic is still refusing to take the vaccine, I may change my mind. But I don't think Fed is in the race and hasn't been since he lost Wimbledon 2019. I do watch tennis in fact and have for decades. What I've found however is that people who have deep issues with their own selves often convert those issues into other problems only they can diagnose with preselected true believers in whatever area they've fixated on.

So the best athletes, musicians or specialists in any area can all become 'pathetic' whenever it might serve a short-term emotional purpose.
