Can we stop using this term when referring to females? It is bothering me.

Can we stop using this term when referring to females? It is bothering me.

Can we stop using the term "females" when we are referring to women? It is bothering me.

We use the term "female" to describe an animal's biology, as an adjective, and as a noun when we don't already have a word for the female animal. But in this case, we already have a word for an adult female human.

Wooooooo-man. W-O-M-A-N. Like to sing it again.

It would also be nice if we can ditch "girls" in favor of "women" when referring to females under the age of 18.
