Stop the Wimbledon-bashing

it's totally hilarious that this thread even begun...

The person that begun this thread says that "people should stop moaning about no play on middle sunday because of local residents".

This is ********.

THE LOCAL RESIDENTS ARE OBVIOUSLY THE ONES "MOANING" IN THE FIRST PLACE.

IF they don't like all the is play at wimby for an enormous 2 weeks out of 52.
just move out of wimbledon to chelsea, battersea or some other english suburb.

it's laughable really...this middle sunday carry on.

Then you say traffic is worse on a sunday than a weekday/ how does that happen?

What other slam has middle sunday?

Wimbledon needs a 21st century reality check. And if Nadal takes too much time, well it's the officials job to deal with it. I bet if he gets penalized points a few times he'd stop it.

After seeing all the replys to this thread, I think these are the most accurate analysis of what is happening here on these boards:

I'm sure that too many people simply can't cope with change.
Deal with it people, appreciate that life isn't always exactly perfect, and sometimes that can be a great thing.

People are victims. And the complaining mentality is everywhere. Whining about random stuff -- 'It's hott.'
....bad luck. Poor weather. Not having enough psychics on the ''SHEDJULING'' committee. Too bad. But the championships will endure. The Championships will endure.

Also I think Federer showed a lot of maturity yesterday when he said:

"It's a long break but I just have to make sure I hit the ball a bit and try to keep ticking over. I refuse to play indoors so I wait for the odd dry spell to practice. It'll be fine.
You just have to be patient. It's really hard for the players but that's Wimbledon. Deal with it."
