String Patterns

I am not sure if they thread should be posted here, but it does have to deal with racquets.

i was recently looking to try out some of the older dunlop racquets, the m-fil 200 and 300 series to be more specific. and i have noticed that the 200 series have 3 type of styles to it all with different string patterns. it had a 18 x 20, a 16 x 18 and a 16 x 19 string pattern. while the 300 only has a 16 x 19 string pattern.

my question is, do 16 x 19 string patterns may have more access to spin than say a 16 x 18 or a 18 x 20 string pattern. in other words, which type of pattern would have the most access to spin??? thanks

open string pattern = more spin

so 16x19 will get you more spin than a 18x20

I highly recommend the M-Fil 300 in 16x19. It's a great racquet.
