How much are Nadal and Djokovic ?

This indicates the worth / standing in ‘real terms ‘ . The slam count , title count are all BS. What is the actual $ you are able to command is the measure of the greatest

It's so hilarious to see some posters here giving importance to such things in times when the records that they have bragged about for so long (which are held by their favourite player) are now in danger :D

Bringing up the topic without this even being the subject of this thread = insecurity at its finest ;)

Invariably this comes up in a "how much does he/she have in the bank" discussion. I always say Fed's net worth is $1 bill, regardless of what some web site might write. What do you all think?

He can make it to the top spot and yet he'll be miserable when Nadal or Djokovic break his record. Worked all his career to achieve that record only to see it broken while he's still playing. Some things money can't buy.

Roger is lucky to have been born in a tax haven. If he was born Spanish I would bet that he would be living in Panama or Monaco or some other nonsense.

Rafa is a proud patriot who unlike many of his contemporaries pays an enormous price to call Mallorca his home, which I admire.

Federer pays taxes with his FACE.

Onto fifth.
The story telling is rushed and contrived but Henry Cavill as Geralt is brilliant, dude totally takes his gaming seriously (He is an avid gamer as per reports)

Good series.
GOT was good too until they really let us down with s8.

Henry is completely slaying the role :D
Im def interested. Never made it past season 2 of GOT, more into Spartacus and Vikings

a strange thing is why did he cut the pizza with scissors:D

I thought that also when I first watched it, but it was basically because he was chasing a guy - The Night Slasher - who was using a knife to kill and cut people, so there was a hidden message there.

I have no idea why anyone would want to watch a Mayweather fight.
This! I mean, why should someone be interested in a guy who is the best in a range of around 5 kilograms of body weight? Just realise how small the competition is in comparison to all sports with full fields.

Also weight classes are a strange and unusual thing in general. I understand that technically those lightweight boxers can be much better than those from higher divisions, but who cares about that in other sports? The body is usually always a factor which has to be predestined for a certain sport and everybody accepts it. There is no basketball for small people or ski jumping for fat people, so why fighting in weight classes? And then all the organisations like WBA, WBC etc. I mean, one world champion in others sports but around 50 in boxing? Come one, give me a break.

One could even compare it to tennis: Mayweather being the top star for being the top welterweight champion is like praising Schwartzman for being be the best of his size in comparison with all the others who are too small to have a really good serve.

Floyd Mayweather as the Diego Schwartzman of boxing. Really, that would be a valid analogy IMO.

Floyd appears dumber than a box of rocks, but he is a top athelete and businessman. Much smarter than he looks

I have no idea why anyone would want to watch a Mayweather fight.

He is a promoter who owns his company, doesnt fight but still making a ton. Not expected from a stereotypical boxer.

nice version, one of the many qualities of a film is that moviegoers can have their different points on each single episode, and each of them has the right to exist, for example is the ninth gate with johnny depp, who's that blonde girl, there are 3 or 4 intriguing versions to explore

It is true, a lot of movies have many hidden messages in them, that the director leads fully to the interpretation of the viewer. Tarantino openly plays on that in Pulp Fiction with the shining thing in the case, where he is basically saying that you need to decide what it is, he just does it in a not so subtle way as a way to play homage to the messages directors leave in their movies.

The reality is people like Federer have publicly listed wealth and private wealth. The publicly listed is endorsements & salary/prize money.

Investment income is often private.

So if Roger just in the 2010s made 640 million in publicly listed income, given his contacts and lifestyle I'm assuming his net worth well over a billion. I'd bet 3 billion+

Director Easter eggs.

I like when mine are picked up here. (y)

You watching?

Yep, on episode 3 now.

Vikings isn't on Netflix so can't watch.
