G.O.A.T.
It looks great with these overgrips and strings. I get comments on the court all the time.
BTW, I only have 1 left. If anyone wants it, let me know ASAP. (4 1/2).
last call!

Any Rebel users also try the Dunlop 4D 200? They have identical swingweight and appear on paper to be VERY similar. Anyone here prefer the Rebel to the 4D 200 and why?
What does everybody think of Prince's QC? My two Rebel Teams have a different balance. #1 is more head heavy (with a stencil, a smiley face, and Tourna) and #2 is closer to even (just like #1 sans stencil). I know it's not the stencil. The racquets are both strung with the same string, same tension, same gauge, fresh OGs, and both on the same machine. They were purchased from the same place within a two week time period.
Any thoughts? Should I just experiment with some lead in the handle? I prefer the more even-balanced one.
EDIT: Anton, no more Tourna, eh. Care to sell? What made you switch?

Rebel has better feel and slightly more open stringbed - other then that they are very similar, with the 200 being slightly more head heavy and slightly lower static weight.
I feel like there is nothing 200 has that a bit of lead on Rebel can't give you, but opposite is not true.
Anton, do u think the 200 is as "arm friendly" as the Rebel?
stock to stock I'd say 200 is more arm friendly because it's more stable (than most rebels anyway, some are heavier then others lol) - but again, a bit of lead on rebel and it will be just as stable.
Flexibility wise tough to say if rebel is actually more flexy of just feels that way.
I gotta say...the Poly EXP is awesome. You should try a set at low tension. It's perfect! I actually discovered it in a wierd way. I had a demo that had obviously not be restrung in a while with Poly EXP, and boy was it sweet. Low tension was awesome!
Cheers, and good luck!
If anyone's interested, I still have one Reb F/S (4 1/2) and would love for someone in this thread to get it. I'll even throw in a free pack of Prince Hybrid "power" or "spin" strings if u came from this thread. Just drop me a line and I'll hook u up.
Lol man I told you I'll take it this Thursday didn't I? But I guess I'll take that set of prince power hybrid power off your hands too now
Sorry Anton...I hadn't heard from you by the end of Thurs, so I thought u were passing on it. But you got it my friend! Free strings too!
Woah! How'd you find the BB11 so quickly? It seems like you switched overnight.
Those accursed orange racquets...
seems like a lot of people are using Poly EXP in the REbel 95 - can you explain what is so awesome about it and which gauge and tension you use?
First of all, it's poly. Full poly+low tension=sweet feel in Rebel (IMHO). The low tensions give you even more spin and power, but the spin helps bring the ball down.
Second of all, it came with my demo
I like the 17 gauge; anything below gets mushy in a 95" 18x20. It's pretty arm friendly, holds tension pretty well, and is a bit cheaper than most polys. It's not as powerful as a multi but is not as boardy as other polys (but I have mine strung low).
Not to mention it looks just plain AWESOME with the Rebel.
JackB1 is here a lot. He can tell you some about the string too.
EDIT: How're you liking the 18 chaddles? Tell us about the BB Ace too. \/\/
BTW, this is pretty much my last post for a while. I am resigning from my position of member's list updater, so if anybody wants to take over, be my guest.
Thanks for all your help, and cheers, X-Men!
Has anyone played with a full bed of black code in their rebels? I'm interested in trying it since it's a fairly soft textured poly. Currently use 18g x-one biphase (full bed) and i like it, but sometimes it feels like it's just a little too lively.

So I've played with the 18g blackcode/17g nrg2 @ 50/52 for a couple of days now, and it's softened up a bit. It's definitely NOT as soft as a full set of x-one biphase, but I knew that before I strung it up like this. I'm noticing more bite and spin, a little less power, and a little more control. Definitely does not feel as boardy as I thought it would. Mishits are definitely harsher, but that was to be expected. I only have a couple of questions...
I don't break strings often, and am able to get about a month out of 18g x-1 before the strings really start to go on me. I had my previous set in there for about 1-2 months, and it had frayed up really bad, was a rocketlauncher, and had generally just lost all feel in it. I went with the blackcode because I wanted to try it out, and I'm happy that I did, but I don't know if it's going to last as long before it goes dead on me. I also would consider trying a full set of 17g natural gut. Do people get a month or more out of their blackcode? Does natural gut provide as much spin and bite as blackcode? How long do you think natural gut would last me considering I can go about a month or two with an 18g multi? Thanks guys!
p.s. i'm also thinking about adding a little lead, so if anyone has any suggestions, i'm all ears. i don't think i'd do those crazy lead setups that have been posted before (lead strips between each port). too much work. any simple 12 o'clock setups, or 3-9 setups that people have tried and their thoughts with it. thanks!
yeah anton, i saw that before, and i wasn't too thrilled about it, but it looks like there's a lot less lead then i had remembered. i guess i thought you had it in between each and every port. how much lead did you put on total? did you notice more plow? bigger sweet spot? less twisting? all in all, i feel like the racquet is pretty solid, but i wouldn't mind lessening the head light balance just a tad.
