Thank you for visiting Tennis Warehouse’s Talk Tennis Message Board. Registration to this forum is free and voluntary. Here are a few things you should know about our message board.
We reserve the right to remove any post or user from the Talk Tennis message boards. Most posts are removed because they violate one or more of the message board policies listed below. Repeated violations may result in your posting privileges being suspended.
All messages express the views of the author, and Tennis Warehouse will not be held responsible for the content of any message.
All information posted on Talk Tennis becomes the property of Tennis Warehouse.
Top reasons for deleting posts and banning users:
1. No obscene or profane language is allowed.
2. No personal attacks or abusive language is allowed. If you have a problem with someone, take it off Talk Tennis. Antagonistic behavior will not be tolerated. Debating issues and opinions is fine, but flaming and insulting won’t be tolerated.
3. No questioning, flaming, or trolling of moderation/admin on the boards will be tolerated. Posts concerning moderation will be deleted. Persistence can be cause for banning. If you have a legit concern about moderation, email discussadmin@tennis-warehouse.com
4. No promotion or advertising is allowed.This is our message board and we pay to maintain it. Please no advertising or promotion of any products, services or otherwise (whether or not for profit), or solicit others or use any forum for commercial purposes of any kind. Links to social media sites including Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc as well as user’s own articles, blogs, websites, videos (see below), etc are not allowed. Whether or not your page is for profit, it is a standard that we apply to everyone because if we allow one person, other people will want to follow suit. We would like to keep Talk Tennis from becoming full of advertisements. If you want to discuss a competitor, please be respectful of our request and do this privately, not on Talk Tennis.
Official account for a brand- in order to have an official account on our message board, Tennis Warehouse (or one of our sister companies) must sell their products. If you would like an official account, please contact the admin. All playtests, giveaways, contests, surveys, etc must be approved by admin before posting.
Youtube accounts- Users are allowed to post Youtube videos of them playing from their personal Youtube accounts. However, when an account has a specific name with a brand, logo, sponsors, ads, etc that is where the restrictions apply. Additionally, videos that have ads or discount codes, promotions, etc are not allowed. We consider this a business and posting videos is a form of self promotion and not allowed.
5. No Sales of New Products are allowed. The For Sale/Trade forum is provided for sales of used, personal tennis equipment. No dealers or anyone in the business of selling racquets. This applies to the Classifieds section. Tennis Warehouse is in business to sell tennis equipment. Please feel free to sell used personal gear only. Any posts advertising new products will be deleted. Repeat offenders will be banned from Talk Tennis. Also, no links to E-Bay auctions are allowed. For sale posts and messages are permitted in the For Sale forum only. Posts in other forums will be removed and may result in the user being banned. No for sale posting or commercial links in signatures or user profiles.
6. No pornography. If you choose to include attached images, that’s fine. Just keep it clean and avoid any that could be interpreted as porn – soft or hard. This includes avatar images. There’s a wide range of ages that post on Talk Tennis and we want material posted to be acceptable to all. Tennis Warehouse reserves the right to remove any images we determine may be offensive.
7. You agree to not use Talk Tennis to: (a) violate or solicit the violation of any applicable local, state, national or international law; (b) infringe the rights of any third party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights and privacy or publicity rights (c) upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that (1) is unlawful, threatening, abusive, tortuous, defamatory, obscene, libelous, or invasive of another's privacy; (2) consists of instructional information on illegal activities, including, but not limited to, hacking and cracking; (3) violates or infringes in any way upon the proprietary rights of others, including, without limitation, copyrighted software, music, photographs, text, videos or artwork; (4) constitutes pornography, or sexual material of an obscene nature or that violates local, state or national laws; (5) is the private information of another such as their addresses, phone number, Social Security number or credit card number; (6) contains software viruses, Trojan horses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment; or (7) you do not have a right to upload or post due to contractual or other legal obligation. (d) impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a Talk Tennis official, message board leader (moderator), guide or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; (e) forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any Content transmitted through the Talk Tennis; (f) interfere with or disrupt the Talk Tennis, computer servers or boards accessible through the Talk Tennis; (g) interfere with or disrupt the Talk Tennis, computer servers or boards accessible through the Talk Tennis; (h) disseminate off-topic messages on boards promoting any product, Talk Tennis, web site, board or venture, or promote boards on the Talk Tennis through unsolicited electronic mail messages to third parties. No posting of torrents or downloads of copyrighted material.
8. No spamming the forums with off topic posts. Spamming the forums will result in an immediate ban.
9. No trademarked or copyrighted usernames allowed.
10. We allow one username per user. If we find you have more than one username, you will be banned.
11. We do not allow the discussion of any specific junior players, unless they are pro players. Any threads/posts regarding specific junior players will be removed. Persistence in posting the names of juniors can lead to your account being banned.
12. Posts accusing others of being double accounts or other users will be deleted. If you suspect that an account is a fake, double account, or former banned user, please report it, and moderators will look into the matter. Repeated posts and accusations could be grounds for a suspension and further a ban.
We would also like to remind you that this is a message board on the internet, and we recommend you don’t share information you want to keep private. If we do delete any information, we are not responsible for search engines’ caches that may hold this information for a brief period after it’s been deleted.
