Vcore 98 2021 vs Ezone 98 2020

Has anyone tried these 2 rackets? Could you share your impressions please, I use Ezone 98 2020 and I would like to know how it compares with Vcore 98 2021
Regards!!!

Spec sheet shows the new Vcore got stiffer in RA, pattern is more open than Ezone’s 16x19 and swing weight was beefed up.

Three main differences, rest would be all marketing I think. I’m on the Ezone as well. Let’s see what peeps who have used both say.

Thanks for asking.

the ezone frame is generally thicker and wider giving it power and stability throughout.
the vcore head is fairly thin beam (more accurate with directional control) but the throat is meatier and using flex/snapback there is good power too.

they are both powerful racquets but they achieve that power differently.
i think the ezone is a more predictable stick for advanced players. vcore seems like it was built for a baseliner.

i looked at the ezone and vcore held up together.
on the mains there was not a big noticeable difference. even with the ezone 8 vs vcore 6.
but the crosses on the vcore were significantly further apart than the ezone.

I’ve never had a racquet so capable at the net than the ezone.
I demoed each (Vcore 98 2018 tho) for a two week period in mid/late November. I agree that the Ezone is easily the best volleying racquet I've ever used, even better than my outgoing Phantom 100 with its very round head shape. Felt like every volley I hit was solid and that I hit the ball in the center all the time. The Vcore was average on volleys.

I thought the Vcore was considerably more powerful than the Ezone on groundstrokes and serve though the sensation of hitting a big serve was more satisfying with the Ezone. If I had to assign numbers, the Vcore is a 9/10 on power and the Ezone a 6. Even then, I didn't think the Vcore was a rocket launcher.

The launch angle between the two was noticeable with the Ezone being much lower. I'm used to a higher launch angle.

I didn't think the Vcore was any stiffer than the Ezone. I strung both with VS/PTStrike.

I ended up going with the Vcore to replace my Phantom 100 because I was after more power and there was a Black Friday sale. Removing the price, I still would've gone with the Vcore.

I came from using a prince Graphite2 mid plus. I demo’ed ezone 98, VCore 100 and VCore 98. Maybe I had too much expectations for Ezone but I did not like it. It vibrate is a strange way and I felt the flexes too much. The ezone some what feel like the old graphite but the vibration just doesn’t work for me. It felt like the whole face is stiff but bends at the throat/shaft.
Vcore 100 was nice but too powerful. Both VCore were more stable and much less vibration than ezone.
