Washington no longer USO Series?

I always enjoy the US Open series set up. End of summer, builds up to the Open kind of like a WWF ppv ...

But I guess it's a wholly ESPN creation, or something? I don't know why else Washington would be cut.

Winning the USO Series was never some prestigious landmark for a player, but now it's 2x 250s and a masters, plus a masters in another country. Weak

You see the CROWDS overflowing the stands...?! When there's absolutely NO ONE sitting in the stands at noon or 3pm for the "popcorn" match -- as the TC puppet heads have been saying all week -- that's pretty pathetic & embarrassing. I wish they'd move a tourney or two to my part of the country, like in the good old days. Of course sitting in the DC August sun gives you QUITE the tan... Too friggn hot there at this time of year for playing or sitting outside & watching.
