Wawrinka to be coached by Peter Lundgren

Stanislas Wawrinka has hired coach Peter Lundgren, reports AftonBladet.

"When I asked what he wanted help with, he said he wants to return to the Top 10," said Lundgren. "It's what you want to hear as a coach.

"I'm going to try to get Stan to become more aggressive."

The two will begin working together next week.

Lundgren, who once coached Wawrinka's fellow friend and compatriot Roger Federer as well as Marat Safin, had been working with Grigor Dmitrov, but the relationship lost steam after a stretch of disappointing results for the Bulgarian prodigy.

Wawrinka parted ways with his longtime coach in June.

Good move, I think. I'm excited to see how this goes.

Nah, his kid will be BFF with Fed's kids. Maybe even worship the ground those twins walk on.
