What to put in a sandwich?

I like whole grain bread made in the old fashion way without lots of added sugars, and baked in a flame oven. Salami is my favourite topping, old country style yet again. And if I have topping or addings, usually I will choose a marinated type cucumber, tomato with onions and spices. If one has to do without such, just a German style bologna will do, or ultimate!!!!!!! Chorizo with fresh caperberries and Grappa on the side! or kalbahsa of the Russian kind!

I am sure you mean "pickled without use of vinegar" - yeah, those are good.

I like caviar (salmon roe) on my sandwhich, or just smoked salmon with capers, if caviar is unavailable. Simple, yet tasteful (and tasty!).:D

No you do not know what I mean, and stop pretending to, thanks :) If and when I wish to clarify anything I say, I will do so.

I can't eat regular bread so I have to eat dairy-free, sugar-free, organic bread made with natural spring water that sucks tremendously on many levels, however, when I spread natural, organic coconut oil over it and toast it, it tastes delicious. Sometimes I sprinkle sea salt on if I want even more flavor. It's simple, but it does the job.

Not even going to give a word regarding...I said what I said. Whole grain bread, especially home made, pickled cucumbers with salat, are my favourites.

Elmer's glue, 6" Fairway leather and raw eggs (shells inclu.) on two slices of buttered but not baked Iron Kids bread.. the stuff of legends. Sometimes I toss tic tacs on there if I'm feeling particularly saucy.

I take whole wheat bread, get some light mayo, white american cheese, turkey breast, lettuce, and tomatoes.

BLAM! Good sandwhich

I also sometimes make a sandwhich w/ wheat bread, provolone cheese, mayo, and Lay's BBQ chips inbetween.

one of my favorite meals before a match....

got to go light but somewhat filling: cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, green peppers, lots of olives, few cucumbers, few onions, and top it off with some salt and pepper...and a glass of water, iced with a sip of gatorade :)

Agh..I'm hungry now

Anyways... chicken/lettuce/mayo or butter/turkey breast/cheese/lettuce and some mayo. Green peppers or rocket salad are an option too. But tomatoes, pickles or onions are a big NO.

First I butter to thick slices of sour dough bread and grill that. Then I slather on a large supply of mayo on one slice, a half jar of peanut butter on the other slice and then put two sliced bananas in the middle. I usually make two or three of these and chow down before bedtime. Ummmm!

Strongly recommend a Cuban sandwich -- slices of roasted pork, ham, melted cheese, pickles, perhaps mustard, on a hearty firm bread

I'd put in lots of meat, mayonaise, lettuce, a slice of tomato, cheese, more meat, and a tiny bit of mustard.

On another note, why do white people like sandwiches so much?

lettuce, tomato, roast beef or grilled chicken or chicken salad or egg salad.

Any subway sandwiches are delicious.

Different combos:

Cheese/Ham/Salami
Cheese/Ham/Salami/Canadian Bacon
Lettuce/Tomatoe/Cheese/Ham + mayo (depends)

Maybe some "Jamon Crudo"

I don't know... be right back, I'm gonna prepare myself a sandwich right now! :D
