The Game of Modern Tennis with better stroke prodution, modern equipment and increased fitness/agility in all professional tennis players has evolved.
It is no longer the "Longboard" of surfing..anyone knows that watching tennis on tv these days. Today's modern game is one of the "Shortboard" surfing competion. This is no lack of respect for the older game, ie, the "Longboard Surf Game"..the "Shortboard surf" had not been invented yet, nor had the Modern Forehand, prior to Connors or McEnroes forehand. Period.
So if you are REALLY interested in playing better tennis, or being the Best In the World at Tennis, you must understand that tennis is evolving and the US has been left in the dust...the Spaniards, the Dutch, the South American's, The Middle Europeans, they KNOW the game far more than our best college players do now. Our college players don't have a CHANCE against most of the World's Touring Players. That must change. The US must back and recognize the best US TENNIS athletes and form and implement a plan to have the US of A back on top in the sport of tennis, in the world!
