Why US Open have such poor seating?

The players and umpire chair looks uncomfortable compared to the Australian Open's player bench and nice umpire chair. Anyone feel the same?

Each to his own! Officials and players don't need to be comfy, they are working! Fans are the one that pays their salaries and should be comfy!
