Hey,
just asking for advice i have a wilson n61 tour but i need a new racket as a spare and at my local sports shop a new n61 is alot cheaper than the newer k61 tour, is it worth spending the extra on a new k61 tour?? is it that much better??
Thanks,
Foley

I have played with both. The k90 swings heavier and feels more solid upon impact IMO. The N90 is an outstanding frame as well. I guess my best suggestion would be to demo both and see which one you prefer. Only you can decide which racquet is "greater" and if any of them ar worth their price. BTW I've heard TW has a great demo program.

I own both and I wouldn't say one is better than the other, just different - and different enough that you would prefer one over the other, but similar enough that you could play either just fine.

Wilson quality control notwithstanding, I find the K90 a little easier to swing with a more 'lively' string bed that provides easier access to spin and power. My serves, backhand and volleys are all a little easier and more effective with the k90, though my forehand ground strokes seem a little more consistent with the n90, all things (strings) being equal. I've upped the tension in the k about 5 lbs for optimal results.
