Monte Carlo and Belgrade were expected but I thought he would skip the non-European tournaments for the time being. Good for Miami though.

I'm sure he skips Madrid now but we'll see him in Rome.

Rome is an extremely prestigious tournament. It's very important in the GOAT debates.

That's great news for NoleFam as it would mean he never suffered a muscle tear at all. Probably was just a cramp.

This makes no sense. Why would he play this much even if his injury is gone? MC and Belgrade are back to back, and Miami is week before MC. He said hes gonna cut his shedule, but now hes playing way to much. This probably mean Madrid is gone, maybe even Rome.

The muscle tear was confirmed by an MRI, so there is no reason to keep speculating about Nole's injury.

Just for your information: Nole is not the first tennis player in history to win a grandslam with an injured abdominal muscle, similar problems to Nole were solved by Borg at Wimbledon 1976, where he received pain injections before matches.

Source for this? Because the only thing Borg did in ‘76 was spray his stomach with freezing spray during changeovers. “Pain injections” would require a legitimate source.
Daily cortisone injections and courtside freeze spraying had diminished the pain of a pulled stomach muscle so that he was able to grind out impressive victories over Guillermo Vilas (in the quarterfinals) and Roscoe Tanner (semis) en route to the final match.”

He's still taking injections, and spraying pain killer on his stomach muscles but his discomfort had no apparent effect on his game.”

Can someone explain if he is playing Madrid or rome? Is he not defending champion at both? Cannot believe with Nadal only 1 behind in M1000 race he will skip the clay event Rafa is weakest at?

Tearovic on the prowl. Can't wait for the next vultured title littered with Serbian profanities, screaming, and MTOs.
Soon. Cannot wait! I love when he does that. Especially when his Croatian coach absorbs all the anger and profanities. Tell you what! Things Cros do for Serbs are just amazing!
