World Team Tennis 2019 Official Stringers

I would like to start this thread early so maybe some people can benefit from the experience or even get in contact with their local WTT TEAMS.

I just had a meeting with the Kastles today to discuss our services. After last year successful campaign they offered it to us again. This year we are working directly with the Operations Director so our lunch today was to come up with the goods / bad of last years event.

WTT IS ROLLING ON A NEW PLATFORM, NEW COURT COLORS AND THEY ARE VAMPING IT UP.

If you are interested in becoming a stringer of your local team I would seize the chance now. Many teams don't plan until last min which could be your best interest. We got lucky last year as our social media and local help played a roll in finding us.
If you reach out to them first you very well might get the gig.

Huge points covered today was the PAYMENT SITUATION. It wasn't a nightmare but tracking down our payment was a challenge.
We are requesting $25 this season from the players. We definitely deserve our compensation for our time, especially in a big city like DC. That was approved, however will have to double check within WTT guidelines on these services and pricing. I was told each venue were subject to their own fees.

I was hoping to hear if there are other stringers on TT stringing on a team this season.

We pitched the idea to have us out near the public or behind see through barriers or windows. Almost all tournament now showcase their strings at the events. Before we were stuck underground with Cinderella. This is a perfect opportunity to interact with our local community to boost up sales and business but give us a chance to run our social media platform. They were very interested in the idea. However, getting the racquets from players or team would be hastle when it is around the General Public.

Of course reviews will be done like last year

Congrats! Since the new Orlando team is going to be playing at the National Campus they'll "probably" just use the Racquet Bar there, so I don't think I can compete! :-D

Looking forward to your reviews of the event!

awesome news dude!

Can I tag along to intern? hahahah.

I love the idea of moving the stringing station to another spot, but where were you/they suggesting it? Only spot that would come to mind off hand is on the 2nd level near the broadcasting/audio booth
