What was the last movie you watched?

Ant-Man.

Didn't watch it at the cinema as I was expecting it to be rubbish, saw it on dvd last night though and was pleasantly surprised!

Pretty funny, the action between being tiny and human sized was something different and the scene where they're fighting in the briefcase with disintegration by The Cure in the background was brilliant.

Was fun to see something like that from Marvel (after the whole civil war thing and the other movies taking a bit more of a darker tone).

Saw it a couple nights ago, I thought it was awful, strange how such talented performers and director can put this type of film out. Maybe it was supposed to be a campy, comedy.

Watched Risen and Zoolander 2 this weekend. Risen I liked and thought it was an interesting perspective on the Resurrection. Zoolander 2 was just bad, felt like they were trying too hard to be funny.

Kidding, he was in The Perfect Storm, good flick

I saw it along time ago and can't remember much about it which isn't a good sign.

Gravity was a good cinematic experience despite it having my least favourite actor/actress in it and not because of it. Oh brother is my "favourite" Clooney movie.

Never saw Gravity. Is it like Up In The Air?

The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964) - Debbie Reynolds. Musical. Fictionalized story about the life of Molly Brown who was on the Titanic.

Madame Courage (2015)

An Algerian movie set in the slums of Algiers. Enjoyed the the realism.

Not related, but I thought I would share this beautiful song from Algeria.

"Popstar"

Andy Samberg's send-up of the music scene. Some jokes land with a thud but some are hilarious, as are the lyrics to many of the songs.

X-Men Apocalypse. Okay movie, not better than First Class or Days of Future Past. Didn't like any of the young X-Men actors except Sophie Turner and that too because she's on Game of Thrones and even she was just ok(felt weird seeing her talk in an American accent). Storm and Cyclops were horrible.. Fassbender and McAvoy were great as usual and Oscar Isaac was alright. Quicksilver scenes were the best. Plot was ok, some things were a bit confusing regarding the timeline though..

Quicksilver provided much-needed levity...sweet dreams are made of this!;)
