Unpopular opinion in a thread like this but it is amazing to me how angry Maestronians get with Fed errors. The guy is 37. 20x slam champion. Sorry he isn't consistent as he was at 25 lol

True but some of these UEs are just flat out ridiculous lol. Grandpa needs to stop shanking.

Lots of well deserved hype for this match right now but the truth is Roger isn't playing his best tennis. It's been fascinating watching his inability to dominate Tsitsipas off the ground. Tsitsi is dictating play more often than not and has a clearly superior backhand.

PS: Fed is up a set and 4-3 and has not faced a BP yet.

Jesus Christ, reading this thread and my head hurts. Have you guys ever played tennis? You know, there are 2 guys playing, not just Fed to be able to win every point.

No no. It's Fed vs a guy with a frying pan. How is he not hitting a winner off every shot??

Exactly. Shame on him. How does he dare making mistakes. He should finish the game with 70 winners and 1-2 UE.

I seriously think that most people that complain have never played tennis.

Well he was playing a lot better then I dont think bo3 is comparable. I havent watched s whole lot of nadal but apparently he has looked really impressive

Matches are played for a reason. Maybe Roger loses if he reaches Rafa, but no need to be that pessimistic. That's my point

I've played a lot of tennis and most of it at Federer's level.

Tsitsipas lacks brains (experience). You can't win this by gung ho approach.

An interesting side-note. This is the 3rd tie-break in the last 3 sets these two have played, and Federer has won each of the first 2, and, in one of those, Tsitsipas led 4-1. let's see.

That return was so unbelievably bad. He backs up to get in the point, and the return drops barely over the net, midcourt.
