And I love it.
I'll take the bolded from a crack den if I have to.No, imagine tennis pro's reaction when Fedr gets to the final not by beating Berrettini, but by beating the journeyman who beat Berrettini.
Djole can defeat the forces of evil. 5 hour 5 set epic. With Nadal waiting in the final of course.Fed is looking good - he just drops off for while and then bounces back - against the top 2 he can’t do that...
So if he can maintain his levels throughout the match - he will be very hard to beat....

OP also doesn’t cite Tiley is merely competing for the David Brewer 2017 USO GOAT Pillow Soft Draw, no?OP, it is not what you think it is.
Actually it is a proof of how strong the Basel draw was.
Agree, Federer has a cakewalk. Djokovic too. It kinda reminds of USO 2018 when all the strong players are in Nadal's draw.
Also, Federer is well rested while Nadal is physically and mentally dead after overplaying before this tournament.
They wanted to favour Federer, but saw that people don't like serve festivals, but want some rallies too, so they slowed fckn surfaces... Even Wimbledon saw what people really want...If ATP/and ITF actually wanted to favour Federer they wouldn't have slowed down the surfaces to favour his main opponents. Fail better.

Best most exciting tournament of the decade was the 2017 AO they sped up.They wanted to favour Federer, but saw that people don't like serve festivals, but want some rallies too, so they slowed fckn surfaces... Even Wimbledon saw what people really want...
You are not aware that in any case it is no1 and 2 to beat for Federer, no matter what is the draw? One in sf and another in f... Its destiny of 3rd seeded player, and Federer is no3...So for Fed to win the Aus open he would have to beat 1 & 2 - geez that’s an easy draw considering between the 2 of them they won just about everything last year and year before...

I don't think anyone's disputing that. You can win more points than your opponent but lose because they played the big points better.“outplayed”
both men won the important points in both matches, their wins were deserved.
Yeah, and Fed won because of speed, and not because of Novak losing early...Best most exciting tournament of the decade was the 2017 AO they sped up.
I didn’t mention Federer. Also on a quick HC like that I fancy Fed’s chances vs 2017 Nole.Yeah, and Fed won because of speed, and not because of Novak losing early...
Question 1: Are you paranoid about court speed and see slow courts everywhere? There should be some test to be done while registering on forum.

Is the sport, ¿no?

No you just like ao17 by coincidence, not because Fed won... Right...I didn’t mention Federer. Also on a quick HC like that I fancy Fed’s chances vs 2017 Nole.
You obviously said that in sarcastic manner... Look at post #19... Try better next time...Hmmm did I not just say that? Maybe an English comprehension test is required?

Yes and yes.Question 1: Are you paranoid about court speed and see slow courts everywhere?
Question 2: Do you consider 2017-2020 (more precisely IW 2018-2020) a weak era?
Yeah, 40:15, thanks for reminding me... yes, it really was something...A win after being outplayed and saving double MP? Twice? That’s the only thing Fed deserves.
The guy in post #19 recognized your sarcasm too...Still lost me... what’s wrong with post #19 and it wasn’t even my post?

Why would any of them had been an impediment for Fed?Federer basically has a bye to the semis. Shapovalov, Dimitrov, and Berrettini all went out like chumps.
Ok, new user, I'll consider you troll till proved otherwise...There was no sarcasm.. by either of us

I agree with you, even without mentioned exits, Fed draw was laughable... Good job, mr Tiley....Why would any of them had been an impediment for Fed?
He destroyed Berrettini at Wimbledon, he demolished Denis in Miami and is 7-1 against Dimi, his lone loss coming due to back issues at last year's USO.

Hey I love that he actually has an easy draw. Not sure why people hate on it. This is a good thing for a Fed fan. Why do people talk like this is a bad thing? Are we going to frown upon this slam 20 years later if he wins it?Normally, I'm against Ol' Rog had/has weak era/draw threads. But there have been so many OmG gUyS rAfA iS dOpInG hUr DuR threads being made.
So, against my better judgement
They probably wouldn't but at least they are quality opponentsWhy would any of them had been an impediment for Fed?

For about 5 years now there really haven't been tough draws anyway. Are some draws tougher than others? Sure, but since roughly mid-2014, draws only matter once players reach the SF (on some occasions the QF).Hey I love that he actually has an easy draw. Not sure why people hate on it. "Yeah, but Feds 21st slam was weak until he beat Djoker and Rafa, so it does not count."
Well, I guess that comes with consistency, right? GOAT's tend to be that way overall. There will be the occasional early anomaly losses to Seppi and Millman just to let you know he is human and likeable.Federer basically has a bye to the semis. Shapovalov, Dimitrov, and Berrettini all went out like chumps. I hope Djokovic gives him what he deserves in the SF

Novak losing early is somehow detrimental to Federer ? Fed won because he was better than the others, it's simple. He doesn't have to beat Djokovic to win the AO.Yeah, and Fed won because of speed, and not because of Novak losing early...
Sandgren, Querrey, Pella, Fognini, what does it matter? They're all weak QF players compared to Berrettini (top 8) and Dimitrov (beat Fed at USO and former #3).I highly doubt Sandgren is going to get passed Querrey, and even if he does, he'll probably lose to Pella/Fognini. Not that it matters anyway, because your arguments are beyond idiotic.
Yep, you are either troll or don't have a clue how things work...Pretty sure the draw was computer generated based on seedings and also like Wimbledon performance on that surface is probably a factor as well as if Fed was out for a year and not in the top 20 he would have been seeded higher based on previous record on that surface..
Partly Fed winning, partly because it had the most great matches, attacking, varied tennis etcNo you just like ao17 by coincidence, not because Fed won... Right...
