Great sportsmanship from both competitors. Isner for finishing out the match and Federer for asking him about his injury right at the net. Good humans.

Unlike some folks in this thread who are asking for all sorts of bad karma and schadenfreude in their miserable lives.
lol, this makes you a good human?you have low expectations my man

I'm interested to see now if Fed addresses in his post-match presser or on-court interview his clay plans. For now, it's Madrid and RG, but maybe he will add something else?

It's unfortunate for Isner but come on does he really need to act out that much? You've been owned for 90% of the match and you think without that injury a miraculous comeback would have happen at the near end of the match??? All of his crying kinda take away from Roger's victory.

Incredible, Federer has won two out of the last three Miami titles, past his 35th birthday. These conditions were some of the worst for him on a hard court, but now a four time champion.

Pretty nuts to think that he ended up winning more Miami titles than IW in the last few years (obviously it could have been easily the other way), but as a tournament that hasn't been favourable for him over the years, having 4 titles is a bit gobsmacking (like how at the AO I would never have thought Fed would reach 6 there).

I think he likes the lower bounce/court taking the slice well of this new venue. Did take the 1st match to adjust.

Miami 17 was absolutely incredible though.
Saving MP vs berdych, then that classic vs kyrgios , then coming back to beat Nadal in straights in the final.
