While I am sure many of you are familier with Borg's rather unique statistics and records I am sure that many of you are not. So I have complied a list of some of Borg's more impressive achivements.
- Won 33 consecutive Davis Cup matches ended by retirement (all time record)
- Won 14 consecutive 5 set matches (all time record)
- 41 consecutive match wins at Wimbledon (open-era record)
- 28 consecutive match wins at the French Open ended by retirement (all time record)
- Was 20-3 in grand slam 5 set matches, which is 87% (2nd in the open-era)
- Won back to back French Open - Wimbledon titles three times (the only player ever to do so)
- Won 5 consecutive Wimbledon titles (open-era tied record)
- Won 6 French Open titles (all times record)
- Only player to win 3 or more titles at Wimbledon and the French Open
- Through 1977 he had never lost to a player younger than himself
- Grand slam match winning percentage of 89.2% (open-era record)
