Ja, vell, I've had chicken schnitzel at a German market trying to appeal to the anti-pork health conscious/kosher crowds. Not good.
So I'm gonna go with Sauerbraten mit sauerkraut und senf.
I've had a brat made with local venison. Sehr gut. This was years ago down in the hill country of Texas, near Newk's. Actual Germans live there. I never would've known.
