Help, problem with my grip

I have 2 biomimetic 300's, but when I first got them they were size 4 1/8, and I increased the size on both to 4 3/8 at the same time. And now for some reason one grip feels slightly bigger than the other, it doesn't feel like a major difference, but enough to where I'm uncomfortable with the smaller one. Plus on the one I like, I can feel the bevels more, and the other it feels more rounded than anything. What can I do to fix this?

Pull the grip tighter on the bigger one. Stretch it a tiny bit

Add tape along each of the 8 sides to build up the grip, thus preserving the sharp edges you need for feel and grip changes.
Never wrap the tape around the grip, for building up grip size.

My roommate let me borrow some duct tape and I put two layers on it, and it feels just about the same as the one I like. Thanks for the advice

I use this shrink sleeve to build up my 1/8 -> 1/4 and it worked really well. I think tape can be a little inconsistent depending on how much intentionally/unintentionally you stretch it.
