JJ needs to not do dropshots at ridiculous moments in the match, (he's getting better though - proud of him) and target Delpo's backhand. Throw in a little variety and only go to the forehand when absolutely necessary, and he'll pull this out in 4.

He last tournament in 2014 was Rotterdam in February. Too bad he has to pull out of the AO, guess he was nervous with the bo5 in all.
