Not man enough to wildcard into Washington with all the other top players, Los Cabos has been blessed with a number one seed as a wildcard.:confused:

Not a bad draw except Tiafoe vs Kokkinakis a tremendous first round match.:eek: Fritz also here still trying to get back on track.:oops: Escobedo vs. Verdasco another nice, nice first round match.:p

Sad days. Only 5 matches will be broadcast from Los Cabos by Tennis TV so feeds may be impossible. Two of the 4 QFs televised and then the 2 SFs and final.

Amazing, amazing 2nd set breaker between Mighty Foe and Kokk. Kokk took it 12-10. Titanic stuff and Kokk takes the match 7-6, 7-6. Mutual respect on handshake/hug.

Shame these two had to meet in first round. Would like to see both of them take a shot at el Berdbrain. Kokk was also down 0-40 in last hold to make 2nd set breaker.:eek:

Kokk on track to save tennis in potential SF showdown with El Berdbrain.:p Good chance he'll play into QF where ARV the seed, but Fritz might actually do something for once and come through.:rolleyes:

Tiafoe served at 10-9 in the second TB but lost the last three points FTL.

Opelka also lost a deciding TB to Medvedev in Washington. Bad day for the teens. At least these two FINNISHED their matches.

Your expectations are too high and then you abandon them when they hit 20. Kokk and Med did great on grass. Tiafoe and Opelka looked pretty good today, so there time will come (not totally sold on Opelka).

Not abandoned...kicked upstairs to their respective threads.

I was all aboard the Med Express until he blew his kool vs Bemelmans after thrashing Wawrinka. He played too much before Wimby...three tournaments including having to qualify at Mahut's Forest. He should dial it back next year or risk getting Thieminated from too many 250's.

Kokk is a work in progress after the long layoff. He needs some ROS honing...can't be Treesnering TBs and expect to win every time.

The teens are burning out physically...Kozlovski doesn't have a shoulder left; Opelka is the Bill Walton of tennis with his bad feet; FAA has a bad wrist at age 16; Fritz is leg weary; Ruud is now banged up or can't handle heat; Tiafoe has back issues; God only knows if Mikael Ymer will ever be the player many expected him to become before his hip injury. That's why I like the slower approach JCF is taking with Kuhn and Fokina if he's behind the Wimby Boys champ. I think it'll pay off for them in the end.

I'm watching Karlovic vs. Halys. There's literally like 7 people in the stands watching that match. How do the organizes break even on this tournament??

You must understand that girls don't look for the same things men do in a partner. All it takes for men to be attracted to a girl is for her to look good. But for a girl to be attracted to a man, the man needs to be confident, well-spoken, funny, charismatic, have no self-doubts, spontaneous, surprising, etc. Guys care more about looks in a woman than a woman does when looking for a man.

2nd seed Querrey barely survives against 347th ranked King in a 3rd set tiebreaker...

Dzumhur advances with Halys retiring.

Top seed Berdych and 7th seeded Mannarino advance easily into the QF to face eachother.

There are many ethnic Muslims in BIH...that diversity was what was behind the civil war in the Balkans during the 80's/90's. Dzumhur is not a practicing Muslim but that did not stop an ugly scene in Rio'16 Olympics during his match vs Israeli Dudi Sela. The chaos erupted in the stands during the match when Sela's mob of fans chanted epithets towards Dzumhur and his Bosnian support team.

As a man, I disagree. I would see anyone with a degree of maturity knows that there are much more important things in a partner than "good looks". Moreover, good looks are very much in the eye of the beholder.
