If my math is correct, this week he will pass Raonic, Nishikori, Tsonga, Carreno Busta and Goffin and into the 11th spot in the Race.

Yes, he is right on Dimitrough's heels for the final spot (1980 vs 1950 in The Race). If Murray shuts it down for any time, Sam is only 340 points behind.

Congrats to Sombrero Sam on completing the Mexican double this year, first Acapulco and now Los Cabos. It's his 2nd title this year and he now hits double figures in ATP titles won with 10 (8th at 250 level).

Maybe "South of the border, down Mexico way" should become his new theme tune?

Congrats also to Kokkinakis on reaching his first ATP final and making it a close contest. His maiden ATP title cannot now be far off!
