Better backhand- Agassi vs Nadal

Since I started a forehand poll I figured I might as well start a backhand one. Who do you think has the better backhand between Agassi and Nadal. I would go with Agassi clearly except on clay where Nadal's is probably better, but overall definitely Agassi.

Agassi indoors and on hard courts. On clay, I'd say Nadal. On grass courts, it's close for me. Perhaps Agassi on faster grass courts (Queens) and Nadal on current courts. I think you have to consider that now, Nadal has a very formidable backhand at Wimbledon. Now, Nadal does have a better slice backhand than Agassi in my opinion. So, the jury is still out on the Nadal backhand, because I think he's improved it quite a bit overall.

Even when Nadal is at full confidence with his backhand (you see him hitting down the line, ripping it cross court, pretty much at grand slams he's won), Agassi still has the better backhand, and has the better backhand throughout the year.

Well as a fan of both, I voted rafa but still think andre had the backhand of all time!! though Nadal can hit more powerful BHs and Maybe more winners on that wing, but still isn't as accurate and penetrative as agassi...

This poll is much more lopsided than the forehand poll. So I guess the overall consensus is Agassi has the better overall ground game since the backhand gap is bigger than the forehand one. Howver Nadal still might have the better baseline game since his movement is light years better than even peak Agassi. Although Agassi was still a pretty good mover in his younger years too.

the only thing in my book Agassi was clearly better than Nadal was return of serve.the rest nadal simply better in every department much more explosive and better pasing shots than Agassi much more comfortable at the net as well.

I agree with that part, as much as i liked Agassi and his huge game his volleys were so poor, i mean for a professional from that caliber, very strange...
