After the U.S Open last year that might have seemed reasonable, but Djokovic has pulled clear from all on hard courts since then again.

Grass: Murray 1 - 0 Djokovic. But Djokovic has a Wimbledon title, Murray doesn't.

Clay: Djokovic 2 - 0 Murray. No surprises there.

Hardcourt: Djokovic 9 - 6 Murray.

So there is currently no surface on which Murray has any clear lead over Djokovic, including grass.

I should also add neither has met John Isner on grass, the fact of the matter is John has won the longest match in the history of the game on this surface, and also hit the most aces in a match at Wimbledon, until both players have faced this colossal force on grass it is very tough to split them I still give the edge to Djokovic because he won Wimbledon though.

This is very true, until both of them have played 3-time Wimbledon 2nd roundist John Isner a respectable number of times, any sort of comparison drawn between their level of play on grass is kind of void.

That said, I'd still give the edge to Djokovic, because though he may be 0-5 sets on grass v Murray, he still beat Nadal to win his Wimbledon title - which Murray has never done. Also he played Federer a lot closer than Murray did in 2012.

I never really knew how this topic got so much discussion. Murray has always clearly been better than Djokovic on grass. A mental edge /match up advantage over Nadal allowed Djokovic to win Wimbledon one year.

By beating someone he mentally owned at the time in by far the worst wimbledon final of the last several decades. Nadal's game isn't even suited for grass. When Djokovic runs into a real grass court player, he's is a non factor (Fed in 2012, Murray in 2013 Wimby, 2012 Olympics).

2006 Fed would have toyed with any version Djokovic on grass.
