Dunlop AEROGEL 500 Tour

I currently have been experimenting with a prince ozone tour racquet. I really do not like it that much. There is not a whole lot of power and the racquet is very muted and lacks feel. Ive heard some good things about the dunlop aerogel 500 tour. Here are some things i want in a racquet

1. I am a defensive baseliner. I want a racquet where i can hit the ball flat with a ton of pace. I have a very fast swing.

2. I want a Dunlop racquet. Quality is everything to me

3. I want a racquet with a good deal of forgiveness. I am not the best ballstriker--but i can hang with the 4.0+ players. So a racquet that is above 100 sq inches is perfect.

Is the dunlop aerogel 500 tour the perfect racquet for me..>>??/

I used to have a AG 500 Tour and now use a Ozone. I am surprised to hear you say the Ozone doesnt have enough power but yet you have a fast swing?
I think the Ozone has above average power and the 500 Tour has a LOT of pop....maybe too much for a fast swinger. It is similar to the Babolat Pure Drive or the Head Extreme. I would suggest the Aerogel 300, but that has less power than the Ozone. Try the 500 Tour...its the only way to find out.

Took this thing out for a hit today alongside my pure drive. Its definitely nice. I think it would suit you. The ball trajectory was flatter. Very firm feel. Big pop off the stringbed. Great serving racquet. I prefer the pure drive for comfort and more spin but the dunlop is more solid feeling on contact.

I just demoed the new 4D 500 tour and liked it a lot more with every aspect of my game than the PDR cortex. I kept swinging harder and harder and I had no problem doing whatever I wanted to the ball. It's $159, but for the right racquet, I'd sell my kids.... Is that wrong?

How much pop does this thing have. Does it seem like it pops like an oversize racquet.

4D aerogel 500 has pretty good Pop. but i think the tour version has better stability to go with the power though. the regular one i hit with felt unstable..:???:

Yeah, the added weight in a stiff frame makes for a very powerful racquet. It's a great stick for what you say you want. I tried the 500 Tour and managed to control the power with my fast swing. Unfortunately it was just too stiff and made for an uncomfortable play for me.

I have two AG 500 Tours. One has the stiffness rating label at 70 an the other at 71. Does anyone know which of these two is the newer production run that TW is selling right now?
