Nadal all four. Federer only if Nadal not in finals.

Womens: Serena. Clijsters. Not Henin.

Well I dont see Serena winning the French, and it isnt that likely Kim will either. I think a half decent Henin is more likely to win it than Schiavone or Stosur.

Ok.... I have Nadal winning 2. The FO, and one other.
I have Federer winning one (either AO, or USO).
I have one of JMDP, Djokovic and Murray winning one of Wimby or the USO

I hope:

AO: Nadal to complete the Rafa Slam in an epic five-setter over Murray
FO: Federer over Nadal in a 14-12 fifth set.
W: Federer
USO: Murray

I think:

AO: a real toss-up. As of now, Nadal, Djokovic and Federer all have a shot.
FO: Nadal, maybe Djokovic has a shot if he continues to improve from now on.
W: Nadal as a slight favourite over Federer.
USO: Murray's big breakthrough

It will be interesting if any of Federer, Henin, or Venus retire should they fail to win a slam in 2011. I have a feeling all will stick it out for the 2012 regardless just since it is an Olympic year.

I genuinely think Rafa has a shot at THE Grand Slam in 2011. Then again, I thought Roger had a genuine shot at it after winning the AO this year.

Things change so quickly in tennis.

AO - Federer
FO - Nadal
WIM - Nadal/Murray/Federer/Berdych - 4 way tie, if I chose between them it would be a coin toss
US - Murray. SURELY he'll do it next year... SURELY!

The fact that people honestly believe Murray will win a slam in 2011 just goes to show how credible the opinions around here are...

Probably since it seems strange she has won there more than Wimbledon or the U.S Open when in theory it shouldnt even be her best surface. She is due for a loss there, especialy with all her narrow escapes there in recent years. That plus Kim will be hungry to win a slam outside the U.S Open.

I am starting to think Murray will never win a slam. If he doesnt win one next year (and I dont think he will) wow things will really look bad for him.

Didn't he just make a slam final this year, kicking Nadal's ass on the way there?

He had a bad U.S. Open, no doubt, but Murray's never been a model of consistency. When he's on, though, you better look out.

I am still formulating my predicitions for next year and I am not ready to release the results yet but one thing is clear. Murray is not a likely choice or high percentage choice for winning a slam next year. Of course I have no crystal ball but it is just not a logical choice as of right now. The most obvious choices are Nadal at the French and at Wimbledon, there are no sure bets but these are as close to locks as you can get. Then Nadal, Fed and or Djokovic for The AO and the USO. If JMDP is healthy, his game affords him a better chance than Andy of winning either the AO or the USO. To put it bluntly, even Soderling or a guy like Berdych would be more likely to win a hardcourt slam before Andy does. These statements are based on me trying to think as objectively as I can on the matter. If it were about who I wanted to win, it would be Fed across the board but that is not going to happen.

Wow it seems pretty really are down on Murray now. I cant believe some think Soderling or Berdych who cant even win Masters titles are bigger threats to win a slam than Murray.

This is your ATP commisioner. Please can you guys come to a consensus and let me know who the winner would be for each slam?. I can save a lot of time (especially for etching the names on trophies). Also it is a tough task to keep ATP site upto date. having these insider info will help us a lot.

There you have it folks.
Fed is no way shape or form out of the picture and will more likely than not be a very serious contender at all of the slams except RG where Rafa is the only contender.

To be honest it would be great to see Murray win Wimbledon. However as a prediction it makes little sense for me to pick him over Nadal, Fed, Djokovic or guys with bigger games than him like Berdych or Soderling who are more likely to pull of upsets than Murray because of their playing styles.

She was the heavy favorite this year and I am pretty sure you remeber what happened to her in the 3rd round against Petrova

If Del Potro is fit He would be like Nadal at Wimbledon this year. Reclaiming what is rightfully his but could not defend the previous year due to injury. If Delpo is truly fit he would be a handful at the AO too.
