Djokovic can have a bad day and Djere, F Cerundolo, Fritz, Tsistipas, Ruud and I would add Tommy Paul can all potentially defeat Djokovic. One thing that has defeated Djokovic from time to time has been over-confidence - he could also just have a bad day too. I will continue to believe that Djokovic can be defeated before the final.
Tommy Paul is a bye for Djokovic as we saw at the Australian Open where Novak smoked him in straight sets. Tommy Paul however is not a bye for Alcaraz who clearly struggled against him.
Simply because someone wasn't able to win earlier doesn't mean he couldn't win now. He has been "hot" the past month or so, that's what matters.
