i think roger is still second best. I think week in week out the listings above are accurate. the thing is, he seems to keep peaking at the majors and making finals. last year was a tough year for him, and even after the mono, he has made every single final (4 in a row, winning one of them).
Roger was sucking it tournament in and tournament out in between the majors too last year, and w/o murray as consistent as he is now (he really only has been since that epic gasquet win in wimbledon), we were rating the djoker and nadal better that roger last year too.
i donno...i dont think ive ever seen him so negative since the aussie open final. i think this french open is the real test. I really think roger should still be the 2nd best clay courter. murray while improved is still visibly uncomfortable moving as compared to roger and rafa. djokovic is right there, but i don't think he quite has the confidence or the consistency required.
so it's all down to roger's mental state. if he wants, he can still be the no.2 clay courter...but let's see if he wants it.
