Year of the Tiger eh? Not for Woods though.

Chinese New Year is becoming important globally. It is a holiday in China, Singapore etc., and with the rise of the Chinese economy, it is now actually affecting global operations. We factor this in into our day to day activities.

Hey Pound Cat,

Do you ask everyone who on Jan 1, 2010 wish everyone Happy New Years this same question?

If you didn't, then my question to you is, why is it the exception to you that someone follows the Chinese calendar. The Japanese follows the same calendar as your "Americans", so do the English, the French, etc.. Is Jan 1st an American only New Years in your eyes?

Pound Cat will probably ask you which days do you count as your birthday. The day you come out of the womb or the day you were conceived or maybe it is your first tri-mester. See? A can of wombs.

I propose we put a freeze on birthday celebration, enforce it with death penalty until the World Congress can agree on which milestone in a person's life is their true birthday. Once we have a global agreement, we can enforce this birthday policy, backed it up with military might.

Oui c'est moi.
