Who knows what happens 20+ years down the line..... What if he wants the divorce? Nobody can be trusted when their is huge financial reward ready to be collected just by divorcing.

Tbh I've been thinking about this a lot if one day I marry a girl. If you sign, would that affect the trust between you and her? Try to put yourself in her shoes and see how that feels. On the other hand, it's not wise not to sign to protect your asset/wealth if you're super wealthy because in 30 years nobody knows what will happen.

Haha, am not sure if Fed or Nole have a prenuptial agreement.... Federer especially stands to lose $250M.... as he has made $500M since 2009.

Rich women also get prenups so they can protect their wealth. But I don't think a prenup will have much bearing after 20 years of marriage and/or several children.

I bet it was that no-good Uncle Tony who stopped Nadal from enjoying his life. I read a story where Nadal once was playing video games with a friend and Uncle Tony came in and pulled the plug out. But then again, Uncle Tony was responsible for Nadal winning his first 14 Grand Slams and helping Nadal achieve his fullest potential and become a world famous superstar.

In comparison, Federer is making $30 mill per year from Uniqlo alone and another $50+ million from his other sponsors Rolex, Wilson, Mercedes, etc.

Its because he chose endorsing all that.
Its very few of the endorsements offer they chose to take.
Sharapova turned down more than 99% of the offers she has got.
Nishikori and Federer would love to endorse the air they breathe if they got money for it. Taking photos and endorsing takes time. If you already have earned enough money many chose not to endorse so much anymore. Time is precious.
Novak is the player I respect the most when it comes to this, want to have his own style and expression.

But he is endorsing more than others, and players get a lot of offers they turn down. Fed obviously turn down less. Sharapova has her own business and brand so she endorse less, same with Rafa and his academy. Nishikori and Federer endorse a lot and done have the same need for making their own business, so he has more time for endorsing a lot. Rafa is s business man as well, and his fortune doesnt show in these numbers people are using in this thread. His fortune is probably bigger than them all. All his investements and businesses all around the world, but its not only in his name when its a stock company.

Prenuptial agreement can only be signed before a marriage .....however they can get a post nuptial.... where Fed can protect his assets/wealth but Mirka has to agree to that though thats the catch.

Prenups have been started to be enforced in the UK last few years... More and more judges are approving of them ...

There is a documentary about her. She has turned sown massive deals from huge companies her whole career. And now she wants to focus on other things than endorsing.
She got the height and the looks of a high fashion model. She has been offered a lot. Same with Rafa, cause he got the looks and the body too. He did the thing w Hilfiger as its his friend. He wants a good and kind of family relation with the companies he endorse.

Most elite athletes turn down deals. Even Shaq does the same and only endorses those that he feels are worthy of his time including Ring, Papa John's and 5 Guys and even has some stake in Google. He missed out on Starbucks because he thought black people hated coffee and didn't go with the deal and he later deeply regretted it.

Players w the body and looks like Rafa and Sharapova are like David Beckham in looks. Its another league of endorsements people like that can get. But Rafa and Maria chose having their own businesses more. I think I saw the docu on Netflix. Its interesting. Its rare they even know what offer they get as its so many. Others take care of that. To endorse something takes time indeed, it also comes with criterias. You cannot be yourself anymore. You have to behave like this or that.
Its like an actress or actor when they are working they are sort of always endorsing the next movie. A lot of actors stop acting as they are fed up w that, like Cameron Diaz for example.

Nadal and Sharapova are multiple time grand slam champions and former top ranked players. If you're one of the best in your sport, naturally you will get a lot of sponsors. Andreescu's fame has skyrocketed overnight and is now getting numerous endorsement offers.

There are females really good looking tennis players that endorsed a lot. And it wasnt so much for their tennis beside being tennis players, as they never won a slam or anything close. To have the looks gives you better deals if you dont have the looks.
You dont even need to have done anything impressive in life to earn a lot if you are good looking. If you are a slam winner AND good looking you got it all basically. For a long time Sharapova got more money from the same company than Serena did.
