hitting deeper backhands

my forehands usually bounces close to the baseline with lots of topspin, but with my 2hbh, the ball bounces around the service line with not much spin, so people can take a really good swing at it.

i use to hit my backhand with decent spin and deeper balls, but after i changed my grip, i have more pace, but less spin and less depth.

could it be that i am taking the ball too low, or that i am hitting the ball too late? should i change back to my old grip?

I think you should keep it, but use your old grip once in awhile. Use everything in your avdance to win. If I were you use that grip you have now and use that for angle shot and your old grip to go for winner. Like I like
