To answer the OPs question, I would pick Federer, he just makes it looks so effortless and easy, his footwork looks so light. Aside from his aces, he doesn't seem to go for winners right away which can be frustrating to watch sometimes. I also admire his more varied "sensibilities", but that can be besides the point.

LOL I think .....come to think of it, Federer might be considered a bit "showy" by some people to fit in to that. Maybe I have the idea wrong....
A lot of people seem to think it´s better to lose to Schaller and Yzaga than lose to Nadal. I don´t. So the choice wouldn´t be tough for me.

I'd rather be Sampras. He looked like a real fighter compared to Fed.
I like the whole "fluidity, prestige, he makes it look easy" thing Fed does and by every means he is talented.

Wow looks like you are offended by making too much (false) assumptions about my post. The post where I said "first real answer of the thread", I didn't say it because it favors Fed. If you read all the posts before it, all of the reasons for chose Sampras were because of his looks (whether cool or not), or his wife. Posters clearly didn't understand my OP that only results and game style are considered not personality or looks. If someone had said "Sampras because I like his game better", it'd be the first real answer as well. Edit:I noticed Cesc Fabregas said something similar before the post I quoted so yes his answer was the first real post, I didn't notice it before was because he commented on Sampras' wife first and I was in the process of explaining to him, wife or looks are not considered.
You've clearly misunderstood my post and taken offence. If that's case, hope I've made it clear to you now. If not, then you were probably trying to take a stab at the thread because Fed is leading it over Sampras, in which case you have failed miserably. Try again. and keep that rolleyes face to yourself.

I've gotten into a couple of arguments with her in the past, and I can vouch for this assessment. 'High and mighty' is definitely the phrase to describe her attitude. I mean, her user name is TheTruth...she appears to have had a complex from day one.
