Is Coria playing with a Radical or a Prestige?

Hey guys, Is Coria playing with a Radical or a Prestige?

It looks like a prestie to me? What do you guys think? If so it is a MP or a PRO?

it will be a real radical and does look like one. head will gain nothing out of him using a prestige and pjing it to look like a radical. he isnt even using the logo. may i say it is good to see him playing again at a decent standard, good for the game to have the best players back.

Neither..probably an old custom PT 280 mold

This definitely is not a PT280..

It looks a lot like a genuine Microgel Radical Pro, maybe extended.. But it is really hard to tell. The beamshape doesn't look like a Prince racket imo.

Murray reportedly uses the Prestige Pro with Radical pj. Seems silly to me, but i suppose Head have enough players endorsing their prestige line, along with the fact that Murray used to use a Radical.

It looks to me that Coria is using a real Microgel Radical Pro customized with Extended length.

thats right. murray has been known for using the i radical for years and with agassi gone, head will be trying to keep as many players on the radical as possible to keep the sales up. the prestige pretty much sells its self. as for coria, it looks like a radical, proberly made longer, but coria seems to have actually tried quite a few rackets out before this and so may actually like it. also, no cap grommets, pretty sure this is a moded radical pro

There is no way it is a prestige or PT. The string pattern is different, it is 16X19 on his racquet and 18X20 on the others. Also notice the bridge at the throat, 6 string grommet compared to 8 string on the prestiges.

I might be called a NEWB - but I froze the picture of him on my TV and counted the string pattern (16X19) and checked out the grommets and shape of the racket frame - and it doesn't look like a PJ, but looks like he is using a real genuine MG Radical Pro :)

the radical pro has a 16 X 19 pattern, and the head shape is identical. i think it's safe to say that it is a radical pro extended to 28"

I wouldn't be surprised if Coria's still going through an adjustment period with his new stick. That racquet's probably got more "pop" than his old sticks. Couple that with Coria not being as consistent as he once was and he's bound to have some not-so-stellar results. I think he's on the way back to the top 50 if he can get his head together. As for the racquet, the head looks a bit more oval shaped than round. Could it be an extended length 98 sq. in model?

I just strung some rackets for him: somewhere between 50 and 52 lbs.
And it really is a real MG Radical Pro in 28 inches.

Which string tension use he for the BB Original?

Use he 1,30mm or 1,38mm strings?

Which grip size use he?

Thanks

Yes, there were some lead at the top. Can't say if he has some weight in the grip or somewhere else at the racket - we didn't had the time to check.
It's BBO 1,30 between 50 and 52 lbs, grip size 3 as far as I remember.

jura did you know how much it weighed ? It must have been around 12 ounces with the lead tape I'm guessing.

Coria rules.

Coria will return to playing top-notch tennis just after Martin Verkerk wins the FO..........
