I'm low enough in the Madrid rankings (and already missed both finalists) that I might as well take a gamble.

Wawrinka in 2, 23 games

So is the official way to tell if a pick was in time or not to take the word of someone who was watching on a stream?

I believe Li and was nowhere near a computer at the time (and the main site I use had it starting at 10 after anyways), but I'm just wondering what the official policy is, if there is one.

Usually it's pretty clear cut and there's some level of trust as well. If it's not clear cut and there's a question, I/we just look it up on sites that note the time or try and see the time on the clocks they've on court. I looked on the ESPN replay a little while ago and you can see that it was pretty close to 7:10 on the clock when Berdych started the match.

It doesn't come up too often thankfully.

Nadal in 2. Over & very out. If only tsonga or Murray had won.... I might have a point that didn't start "0." hey ho.

The main idea was that I was gonna change anyway, so I just did it very close to the beginning of the match.

Yeah that much is obvious. Advantage to the guy who can sit by a computer at the start of a match. Because that's what this game is really about I guess.
