Please will you take a sec to post how much lead you put and where on your n6.1's? Also if you could put a brief description of your game play and how it compares to the racket play without lead tape, and if you've added a leather grip or not.

I have a bout 10 grams added to the 3 and 9 oclock position. I've recently changed one of my two sticks' replacement grip to a leather, for comparison with the original. For a couple months now i've liked the feel of the added weight but i've recently been questioning whether or not i'd like to keep it that way.
GOod topspin off both sides, 2HBH, decent flat 1st serve & kick 2nd, 4.0

Thanks

That sounds awesome. I woulda started with 3 on each side though just my preference...but leather grip always helps with counterbalance too.

first of all, why are you questioning to keep it that way or not? I did have an nCode 95 16x18, I did put lead, but I wont answer quite yet.

My ncode 6.1 95s weigh 13.75 ounces. It feels really solid, but I might add a bit more. Just keep adding weight, under the grip and at 3 and 9 o'clock until you racquet starts to feel sluggish. Some people I no add it only at the end of the raquet which will give you more power, but won't make it more solid really.

I'm not questioning to keep it this way or change it. I know i should just do what feels best for me, i was simply asking for others experiences with their lead customization and how they liked it.

My N6.1.95
3gm at 1'
3gm at 11'
4gm at 12'

Grip removed (saves about 15gm)
Overgrip only
Some lead in the butt to get the balance to 8pt HL
Total weight 358gm
SW 362
I prefer the stability of lead at 3/9 but the total weight gets too high when I balance the racquet by counterweighting the butt in order to get the desired 8 HL.
Still needs some fine tuning, but this has the best combo of shots/feel that I have tried to date.

Hence my answer.

But if all you want is other's experience then I added more weight, but balanced the weight out in the handle and the frame. I felt comfortable with a heavier racquet so I ended up buying an nCode Tour 90, and added lead to that. My racquet weight is now 370 grams.
