Phantom Pro vs Phantom Pro (18x20)

I want to know if anyone has played both and has input?

Both models are, RIGHT NOW, ridiculously cheap on TW. And this basically means I am going to buy a pair of another racquet I may or may not need :X3:

In an effort to not buy 2 pairs of racquets, I want to hear peoples' feedback.

The one has an open the other a closed pattern, to me the TW reviews were somewhat inconclusive. Both were mostly well received, had pretty solid scores, and the open pattern I think got an 88.

So help me decide, and maybe I helped you find a great deal....

I have hit with both and what you will find is that the 18/20 Phantom Pro 100 is the heavier more demanding frame with more control and less power. Where you notice the greatest difference is in the serving, and the 18/20 is pretty low powered compared to most racquets out their full stop, so you have to swing harder to extract more power. Otherwise it’s a very smooth and confidence inspiring frame and is more stable than the 16/18. If you add some half lead at 12 o’clock the 18/20 service power will bump up a bit.

Good feedback, thank you

But if you had to choose one?

The pro 100 18x20 for me is naturally heavy and stable compared to the normal pro .....I chose that over the normal pro when I needed a switch but you have to commit to good technique in playing with the 18x20 else your arm and shoulder will answer for it

Way too low of an RA with way too low of a weight for either. The numbers make me think these things must be absolutely anemic.
Speaking of Prince racquets though, the Textreme Warrior is even cheaper than both the racquets you mentioned and I’m considering giving that a try, especially since I have a couple racquets for their trade in program.

I have the Phantom 100P. ITs not anemic at all. I love mine - but I am also selling if you want it :) I haven't played the 18x20 but all my research led me to the open pattern being the superior frame.

I think the 100P is different than either of the two I mentioned.
Prince has or had quite a bit of confusing overlap in the Phantom line....o_O
