Need I say: what a horrible draw!

This is just about as bad as it gets for the Gold Group. To me, there are no stand-out players who will obviously make it through to the semis.

Is Roddick always blessed with beautiful draws? I realize he has had to play Federer in many grand slams past, but his road to Roger is always relatively easy. I can't see this being a whole lot different if he serves above 50%.

It's worth noting that, unfortunately, the two alternates are T Robredo & J Chela--NOT Nalbandian

gold group, nightmare.... i think djokovic can make it to semi... nadal? maybe....
eventhough i am a fan of nadal, but i am very doubt that he can make it ... maybe the most to semi-final...
federer will win shanghai with ease......
