It does play better when the tension is higher like you have it, 58#. It is a very tension sensitive racquet if you want to get the most out of it.playing it in stock form, full gut 16g at 58#

Just let the racquet do the work. It feels great when you do that. After a bunch of demoes and a short sting with Prince I am back to the c10 and committed to using it over the winter. The more I use it, the more I like it. It is just so solid from everywhere on the court, as long as you use long strokes and finish your swings. The more I use it, the less of an issue the weight is.

Hopefully a start of a return to form. This v1 evo could restore Volkl to its rightful throne atop the 4.0 Middle Aged God Division
What do you volks think of the new paint?
It’s a call out to their old ski graphicsI like the base colors of the new V1 Evo…the grey and black cut with the yellow looks good, just not sure about the throat striping. I’m not sure I would’ve voted on the striping when the sales and marketing vote came around.
They are ugly!! WHY did they do this? Sometimes change is not so good.Wow that’s super fugly!
Great job, Volkl. I am disappoint.
C10 EVO
The C10 EVO shares the C10 name, heritage and frame design with its older brother. Now the legendary thin beam player’s frame comes in a lighter version which can be used as-is or customized to fit virtually any player’s needs. C10Evo offers well-balanced feel with a soft flex for players who...www.volkltennis.com
i wonder how this will play stock? I like the retro paint job and that they’re using red again on a 10
Uggggggly!Omg what were they thinking with that design?
Like it. Looks like an interesting stick. It’s a bit HH like TF40 305 and TFight 305, but a bit heavier. Not sure how maneuverable it can be.What do you volks think of the new paint?
Lead graphic designer is this man:Omg what were they thinking with that design?
exactly my thoughtsI'm shocked that finally Volkl is giving us a C-10 Light. I think the fact that I'm dazzled by the specs makes me ok with the paint.
Okay who's taking the plunge and going for the new C10 evo? I am still playtesting the new prince tour 98. the more I use it, the more underwhelmed I am with it. Not super stable, it has a real wide beam that I am having a hard time getting used to and it lacks any feel. Very muted flexy, lighter low powered frame. reminds me of the old yellow yonex frames from the early 2000's. It is good up at the net and is a good serving stick. I need to try some different string set ups on it before I bail. It is Okay off the ground, but no wow actor like Michelle was gushing about in her review.
Have you tried the v8 blade? Its definitely kind of holding down the spot for this type of frame I thinkOkay who's taking the plunge and going for the new C10 evo? I have the v6.5 version 16 x 19. decent frame. A tad muted for what I prefer but I can use it in match play.Have you tried the v8 blade? Its definitely kind of holding down the spot for this type of frame I think
As a former c10 pro guy, I’m so interested. I might have ordered without testing but I just got two speed pros and not trying to spend all of my money.did anyone get the chance to hit with the c10 evo?
Tried the Blade v8 16 x 19 and really liked it. Plays softer, lower swing weight and more HL than my current blade v6. I'm going to give it a more serious look until i hear feed back on these new c10'sHave you tried the v8 blade? Its definitely kind of holding down the spot for this type of frame I think

As a C10 Pro user, I'm looking forward to people's thoughts on the C10 Evo as well. Surprised we haven't heard anything yet!
@TW Staff Any playtester review coming for the Volkl C10 Evo?
Hi Basil,No one has tried the new c10 evo yet?
When will you have demos available for the c10 pro evo?
What do you have it strung up with and at what tension? Did it feel head heavy?Just tried the C10 EVO tonight.
Easy to swing, good power and spin,
Very crisp and clean feeling frame.
Definitely UGLY!
I've seen different figures quoted for SW of this one, did it feel like it might be a handful to swing fast? The V1 EVO feels close enough to spec but the added weight, compared to the regular V1 is very noticeable to me. Its the first V1 I've picked up and felt comfortable with.
