When to Buy Insoles

I have Prince T22 lites with factory insoles & they are comfortable enough.

BUT after playing this past summer in humidity, shoes got wet from sweat so I washed the insoles and put them in the dryer.
Now I notice when wearing them there is less cushion and sometimes a feeling of wearing sandals after a few games.

Do I need to replace them with Superfeet Green insoles or Orange? 40-$50 is a lot for replacement insoles

I don't want too much cushion in the shoe.

It is always difficult to tell what too much cushioning might mean to an individual. Superfeet greens have been quite popular with the tennis playing crowd for a good while now. That may be a good place for you to start.

I change insoles when I can see a a very clear indentation from my toes. I use the stock insole when it’s good like adidas or asics, but change it to dr scholl’s sports insoles. When I can see my toes that’s when the cushioning and toe/ball padding starts to fade.

I've been part of the tennis crowd for 25 years but never lived and played in a humid place during the summer. So, the cushioning lessened a lot after the wash & dry.

I am maybe different. With my present shoes Mizuno I prefer thin socks and no insole. I have high arc. Slightly wide toe area. The shoes as is have cushioning enough, bit like early Barricade plus my heal gets better locked in that way. I live in tropical area. So less hot this way.
I think there are some pros also that dont use insoles.
