Where can you stand in doubles???????

i wonder why alot of 3.5 to 4.5 don't try to stand more in middle, take away half the shot and alot of players can't go down the line well

Is the doubles partner (that is not currently returning a serve or hitting a serve) allowed to consume a beverage or eat food during a point?

If the answer is yes, then I assume this means they are allowed sit on the bench and have a drink or eat during the point as a spectator. If they can be anywhere, can they also sit on the umpire chair if there is no umpire present for the match?

I agree. Too many times both players are out wide leaving great gaps in the middle, the easiest shot for the opponents.

Ifo you beat me down the line, good on you. But I'm absolutely not going to give you freebies down the middle.
