these yonex master stringers are saying this is the best machine in the world today. is it that good and can I afford it ?

I read around $11k. It would seriously take me 15yrs just to get it paid off.

I would have zero evidence to answer this. I don't string on $9k or $11k machines, they just sure look cool. IMO, I don't think any machine is worth that kind of money, but Yonex is Japanese and the Japanese make some seriously awesome **** no matter what you're buying. Ever strung a newer Yonex racquet? Smooth as silk. I truly don't know what a machine could possibly be built with to demand a $10k pricetag; at some point I have to imagine you're paying a brand-name premium.

I agree with you. No machine is worth $10,000 unless it can cook and clean as well.... Anyway, which machine do you think is best professional grade machine that is affordable ?

I really like that Wilson Baiardo, I could see spending $2500-3k on a used one. But certainly not six grand. When I look at all these pictures below, they are essentially the exact same thing, just different cosmetics and styling. Spending an absurd amount of money for a machine to do the exact same thing as something 1/6th the price sounds more like a pretentious talking point than anything. Kind of like someone choosing to buy a Maserati instead of a Camry. They both have an engine, four wheels, and brakes, and get you from Point A to Point B.

The Prince, Victor, Siboasi, and Alpha machines are made by OEMs, and IMHO there's not much setting any of these apart from the rest. The Baiardo is also made by an OEM but at least more advanced than the others. Babolat makes its own machines, Tecnifibre machines are made by Spenle Pizzera, and the Yonex Protech 8 is made by Toyo Zouki. IMHO there is a big difference between the Prince machine and the Babolat, Tecnifibre, and Yonex machines.
Tecnifibre's machines are very expensive, and the new Babolat machine gets expensive once you add any options. The Yonex Protech 8 isn't much more expensive than the Baiardo, and I think it's the best bang for the buck from all these machines. Remember that the Prince 7000 is $5000...

The Babolat can get up, and past, $10K. There are a bunch of different models with different options (mostly in the clamping system). But still, it would be really hard to justify spending that kind of bread on a stringing machine. Heck, I had a hard enough time getting my wife to agree to letting me get one of these:

How do you like the Ghost(2?)? I've been using a Prince 6000 for years but the owners will lose the lease on the pro shop, leading them to sell the machine. I'd buy the machine but it's been fixed twice and I'm guessing they won't sell it any lower than $3K. If that's the case, I'm considering the Ghost.The Babolat can get up, and past, $10K. So far, I've strung about 8 racquets on it and it's smooth as can be. Definitely pro level. I would suggest spending the $3k on a new Ghost instead of $3k on a twice broken Prince.

Really interesting story about the history of the company. They also make a $250 starting clamp that's sold by Yonex and Kimony. Looks like they're a small business with only about 10 employees which makes me like them more (I just don't like their prices lol
).

Unfortunately I don't know of any sources like Apollo Leisure or Stringers World in America, you'd need to contact Yonex USA since even they don't put prices on their web site. My source for the price in America being much less than $9K is a couple stringers I know who bought the ES5Protech and Protech8 stringing machines.
