Well then you need to steer way clear of that shark, or just about any O3 for that matter. Look for something with a low-medium or low power level if you do generate the racquet head speed you said you can.

I just bought it. :-o

Lately the last few days I've been hitting with this racket, my balls have been sailing just a few inches behind hte baseline with not much topspin.

So you don't know of any strings that'd be useful for this racket?

I wasn't in person when this racket was purchased for me, so I don't know the stringsput on or tension used for it.

This strings are already becoming beat up. I've used this racket for 4 days maybe (2 days serving only, 2 days of hitting) and alot of hte strings are already moving out of position. It's a hassle having to adjust the strings after every long rally and they're so out of proportion. I can move the strings left and right and I can tell they weren't strung tight.

Sounds really good, I'll look into it.

So you recommend I should buy those Prince Strings and that Babalot String saver?

dont buy any 15 guage strings, how does that improve... anything? it only improves durablility, but you dont want to use a set of strings for 6 month anyways.

So what do you suggest? You're right, I dont' want the strings to last for 6 months. I'm going to be playing alot of matches in the high school season, so I'll be stringing quite often.

I recommend using a poly string, maybe a hybrid to start with. It will last you longer on the durable side of things

Prince Topspin is not a 15 gauge string, though--it is a 15L, which is midway between a 15 and a 16. And it is textured, like spin strings are, which can offset the added thickness. We're talking millmeters here, too.

An O3 player needs added durability; the 03 design is perhaps harder on strings than any other. However, Prince also makes Topspin Plus, which is a true 16 gauge and comes without the Duraflex; get a set of each, and see which one helps you more. There are trade-offs here to consider, as indicated above.

like i said, a polyester/gut hybrid would help. bigbanger 16guage rough is a good spin string. as for crosses, something durable like the wilson nxt which is pretty durable imo. just because he is playing with an O3 doesnt mean he need super durable 15 guage strings, or 15L w/e... and it depends on how long you want it to last. 15 hrs? 20? 30? 15 guage should be your last choice if everything is breaking too quickly because it certainly isnt the most playable string around.
