I am gay in fact, and they both look nothing like him, and are both way way less hot. Compared to him they are dogs, sorry. Nobody would pay them $5to perform anything for them, let alone $50 million a year just to play the mediocre soccer of a has been like Beckham is, and we all know why that is.

Yes I do watch soccer, I am not as dedicated a fan as I am of tennis but I do watch and keep up with it somewhat. I watched him at the World Cup, and after seeing him perform there, was not at all surprised to hear that the new manager hired after Sven-Goran Eriksson's departure after the World Cup, decided to drop him from the England National team. England is what-something between the 5th to 8th best Soccer country in the world right now? That is about right in my estimation anyway. So Beckham is not deemed good enough any longer to even remain as one of the midfielders on a team that is 5th-8th best in the world, and yet is worth $50million a year somehow. Little to do with soccer, that much is apparent.

If he starts for real madrid and played for international team and scored a goal in the world cup which not many english players did at the WC thats not playing mediocre soccer. You obviously dont know how to watch football

You still did not acknowledge my pointing out that after the World Cup he was DROPPED from the England National Soccer team, with the replacement of Sven-Goran Eriksson, whose term was up after the World Cup. In fact I have read multiple articles saying he was only still on the team at that point because of Sven-Goran being in charge. In any case the fact he got 1 goal in the World Cup did not apparently impress the new head coach of the England MNT. The fact he did get 1 goal does not mean he played overall better soccer then alot of the guys who got 0 goals.
He has not been a regular starter all season this time around for Real Madrid, he was on the bench for a period of time this season. Plus Real Madrid is full of internal politics and marketing agendas.

yeah and whats the reason he was benched ? was it because fabio capello didnt like the fact that he was moving to LA galaxy and was being an ass or was it because he really sucks. Name me a one player from Real Madrid midfield who truly deserves to start over david beckham ,, yeah nobody even the new young kid from argentina gago real madrid signed didnt do a thing for real, thats why they are standing in 4th place right now in la liga.

Im semi agreeing with fedfanatic on this.In my opinion - yes DB was amazing in his day!(playing for Man u before he went to real)but now i dont think he is up to scratch and the england team are bringing a lot of young midfielders through,e.g.Lennon and Walcott, and there are also some england midfielders who are in their prime atm, e.g.Gerrard and Lampard. I think Steve McClaren made the right decision to drop his from the international squad. Also at nearly 32 he should be thinking about retiring in the next 2-3 years.
